The concept of a project is based on postmodern attitude towards contemporary sustainable design. The set of "Neokubista" and "Neorondokubista" lights resembles art styles as art nouveau, Czech cubism or rondocubism (architecture style unique for Bohemia). Light lampshades are made of recycled antenna´s PCB, which is reasonable of their great heat resistance, high strength and appropriate translucency. Once the unique PCBs are assembled together, unexpected and functional art artifact is born.

Ester Havlová - Fragmenty
Futurista Universum presents "Fragmenty", an exhibition of Ester Havlová. The selection of public area and architecture pictures. In spite of the extremely sophisticated installation the exhibition itself doesn't seem cold. Maybe because its connected with shop with presentation of czech design products and bookstore. Together with an exhibition a new book Fragmenty was published. Ester Havlová was nominated as a best photographer of the year in Czech Grand Design 2009 awards.
A B C: All the routes will lead you to the METRO
The second great event in Futurista Universum in 2010 was presentation of a brand new product, The Prague Metro Map. Map with pictures from Ester Havlová rediscovered a great design and architecture in Prague underground. Design studio Carton Clan made a layout of this map with small brochure.
Futurista Universum emited a new serie of postcards with Ester Havlová pictures.

100% DESIGN London, 24.-27.9.09
Under the patronate of Ministry of Industry and Trade of Czech Republic Futurista Universum went to London, where the show 100% Design took place. In exposition named Czech Selection 09 Futurista presented the best from czech design together with another czech companies.

Monika Drápalová fashion show Cache-Cache 20.5.2009
Monika Drápalová was awarded as a best fashion designer in Czech Grand Design Awards 2008. The Academy of czech design awarded her collection Cache Cache. The collection was presented during the ceremony of grand opening of new centre for contemporary design and architecture Futurista Universum on Betlémské náměstí in Prague.

In cooperation with other companies, Futurista and Kubista together participated on "Maison et object". The show took place in Paris. It was focused mostly on interiors and product design.Peruť on Designblok 08
Collection was created by Maxmilián V. Johna. His aim is not only to express the estethic view, but also the reflection of current events. The shape, functionality, sophisticated installation, unusual combination of forms a genres, material diversity, exagerration, humour and selfirony and selfreflection.

The Magnificent Seven - Designblok 08

Together with another Czech companies (Azarre, BeldaFactory, Koncern Design Studio, Qubus, UP závody, studio ndr...) we participated in Křehký by Czech Republic on Design week in Milano. Under the patronate by Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade we presented the newest collections from our production. The exposition was admired and crowded every day 10 to 22 hours.Promotional material here.
Nomination for The Shop of the Year 2007
For the interesting concept, concerning the young generation of designers and the wise combinations with the clasics of Bohemia.
We got the 2nd and the 3rd place together with gallery shop Kubista.
Opening of Futurista in Soukenická street in 2007
In May 2007 the brand new shop was opened in Soukenická street in Prague. It is focused especially on Czech design production. Gallery Kubista got a new younger and more free brother to its 5 year anniversary.Promotional material here
